Putting safety first for both our guests and staff – at the Ammon Zeus Hotel we aim to follow the strictest hygiene and safety protocols against COVID-19. Our hotel is currently operating under an official anti Covid-19 certification issued by TUV Austria.

What’s more, our hotel management team is closely monitoring all recent COVID-19 updates and breakthroughts through the World Health Organisation (WHO), Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and various government agencies. Our objective is to constantly follow the best and most advanced practices, informing our policies as things keep moving forward.

 Reservation & Check-In Policy

  • Flexible free cancellation policy is applied. Kindly get in touch with the reservation department for more information.
  • Guests with existing reservations after June 2020 are able to change the date of their stay to any other date in 2020 – including non-flexible or pre-paid rates. Note: changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
  • All bookings must be amended or cancelled via the original point of confirmation. So if via an Online Travel Agency or Corporate Agency you must ask them to cancel on their system. We are not able to cancel a booking on their behalf as charges may be incurred from them as a result.

Room Cleaning Policy

  • All bedrooms (and public areas) at the Ammon Zeus Hotel are heavily sanitized prior to guest arrival.
  • Once bedrooms have undergone a ‘deep sanitization’ they are Sealed ensuring you are the only people to enter following enhanced cleaning protocols being completed.
  • High Touch Point areas in bedrooms and throughout the hotel have been identified and are regularly sanitized. These include but are not limited to: door handles, buttons, rails, front desk; counter tops, room keys, bar areas, tables and all communal areas.
  • Housekeeping everyday.

Staff Hygiene & PPE

  • All staff members are required to follow official advice regarding the adoption of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • All staff members are required to wash and sanitize their hands frequently (every hour)
  • We provide antibacterial liquid and sanitizers throughout the hotel for guest use. Seperate antibacterial liqued stations will be available throughout the hotel.

Services & Social Distancing

  • Self service has been withdrawn during breakfast and dinner and guests are obliged to make a reservation through the reception desk – prior to visiting the restaurant. Food is served by our highly-trained staff, following the strictest safety protocols and standards.
  • Restrictions have been put in place throughout the hotel to ensure a degree of social distancing is maintained.
    • The number of tables available in the hotel for guests to have drinks etc. have been reduced, in line with official guidance
    • This includes our Fresco Bio Healthy Bar and Cocktail Bar capacity which has been curtailed to ensure your safety. Consequently we would recommend you do reserve a spot if you fancy a cocktail with us – hotel guests are always given priority;
    • Please speak to reception to discuss making any necessary reservations.
  • All tables, chairs and sunbathing areas are sanitized after each use.
  • Taking guest temperature during check-in as well as on a daily basis at the restaurant entrance is mandatory.
  • We do not shake hands, or make any kind of physical contact, with guests or colleagues (this is recommended best practice, to prevent COVID-19 from spreading).
